The journey toward conception is often fraught with “anticipatory anxiety” and the grief of infertility.

Psychology fits into fertility care by providing a systematic and inclusive support structure.

We focus on preparing the “mental space”for pregnancy, managing the trauma of difficult journeys, and equipping you with tools to handle the emotional uncertainty of the waiting period.

Emotional support for women who are preparing for pregnancy, trying to conceive, or navigating uncertainty during the fertility journey.

Focus areas include anxiety, expectation cycles, relationship strain, and building emotional resilience during the process.

Providing a safe space to women who are in both the family planning stage and in their fertility journey. Both journeys are psychologically challenging and require a safe space to process.

Fertility Yoga: A nurturing, intentional yoga practice designed to support your body and nervous system during your fertility journey. These sessions combine gentle movement, breathwork, pelvic circulation practices, and restorative postures to enhance blood flow, regulate stress hormones, and create an internal environment that supports conception.

Rooted in both anatomical understanding and cyclical awareness, Fertility Yoga honors each phase of your menstrual cycle and adapts to your body’s needs.

Whether you are preparing to conceive naturally or alongside assisted reproductive support, this practice offers grounding, emotional steadiness, and embodied connection as you cultivate patience, resilience, and trust in your body.

The journey toward conception can be emotionally complex, particularly when fertility challenges arise. Stress, uncertainty and medical interventions can place strain on both individuals and couples. Marizanne offers trauma-informed relationship and sexuality counselling to support communication, emotional resilience and intimacy during this time.

She also integrates Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE®) to help release accumulated stress held in the nervous system.

In addition, Access Bars® sessions may support clients experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm or depressive symptoms that sometimes accompany fertility journeys.

Her work recognises the emotional, relational and physical dimensions of the preconception and fertility experience.

Breastfeeding is a natural way of feeding your baby. It however, doesn’t always come naturally without challenges.

Lactation support before birth can help, especially for first-time mothers, to navigate the early days of breastfeeding and understand the changes in milk supply and ensuring early effective initiation of breastfeeding.
